Andrew Wiggins To Have North Carolina, Kansas, and Florida State Visit Next Week

Andrew Wiggins’ recruitment keeps heating up and it likely won’t stop until it is over.

Adam Zagoria wrote an excellent piece about Wiggins’ upcoming visits, which I recommend to my readers. He broke the news of Wiggins upcoming visitors. I previously had only seen the tweet about North Carolina’s Monday visit.

Wiggins will have some of college basketball’s heavy hitters visit next week. North Carolina Tar Heels head coach Roy Williams will drop in on Wiggins on Monday; Kansas Jayhawks head coach Bill Self will follow on Tuesday, and then Florida State coach Leonard Hamilton will get to bat last.

Don’t draw any conclusions though about the order of the visits though.

“I really don’t think it means anything,” Huntington Prep head coach Rob Fulford said to Sny.tv. “They get seven visits; I would think it’s probably smart to use them all. While they still have them, I would use them. If I’m a coach at a collegiate level, I would come as many times as I could within the NCAA guidelines. Those guys get a number of visits to see a recruit, so they want to come and see what Andrew’s thinking.”

Don’t see Kentucky on this visit list? That’s because John Calipari already used up his last official visit.

“Calipari’s already been here,” Fulford said. “He came in here before [Wiggins] left for the McDonalds’ Game. He’s already been here.”

We are reaching the closing moment of Wiggins’ recruitment and it has been quite a ride. Let’s see how it finishes off.
