If you happened to watch the Atlanta Falcons take on the Seattle Seahawks, you would have witnessed a great game. Both teams fought hard and it was one of the better playoff games in recent memory. However, one person did his best to mar the game. That man was Brian Billick.
I mean, that is some weird stuff right there. You just saw the Falcons clinch the game and you get them confused with the team they just beat? Not a good look for a professional. In fact, there were some really bad moments from him during the game. I don’t have a total listing of them, but he certainly took away from the game.
Really, that was the only thing that could take away from such a great game. It had everything you would want in a football game. The drama was high, the plays were great and the drama was intense. Then again, you had to deal with Billick, who was determined to make the game a mess from an announcing standpoint.
A lot of people were not happy with how he performed. The outrage online was actually pretty funny. A guy like Billick should be extremely prepared for something like this. However, it just seems like he was lacking this week. Most of his stuff is pretty good but today it was a bunch of nonsense. Not exactly what you want during a big game.
On the bright side, that is his last announcing assignment until next season.
