2012 Fantasy Football Busts: Three Players to Avoid Week 2

Here’s a look at the top 2012 fantasy football busts for Week 2.

3. Dallas Cowboys Wide Receiver Kevin Ogletree

It’s safe to say Ogletree was one of the most popular players to pick up off waivers after catching eight passes for 114 yards and two touchdowns against the New York Giants opening week. However, he faces a much tougher task on Sunday against a much better Seattle Seahawks secondary–so his production may be down.

2. Tennessee Titans Running Back Chris Johnson

No player was more disappointing in Week 1 than Johnson as the running back recorded just four yards on 11 attempts–which is embarrassing for a player like Johnson. It won’t be difficult for Johnson to top last week’s numbers, but it’s unlikely he’ll put up the type of numbers fantasy owners expect from him.

The San Diego Chargers managed to contain Darren McFadden in Week 1–so don’t be surprised if they do the same to Johnson on Sunday.

1. Philadelphia Eagles Quarterback Michael Vick

One thing is certain–the Eagles will have no chance of winning on Sunday if Vick plays like he did against the Cleveland Browns in Week 1. The Baltimore Ravens looked like one of the most impressive teams in the NFL on Monday Night Football as the defense applied pressure to Andy Dalton and company the entire game.

For a team that has already had trouble with protecting their quarterback over the last couple of seasons–Vick will be seeing plenty of pressure in Week 2 from an intense Ravens’ defense.
