Ah yes, here is an example of the classic “I am the Man,” moment.
On Wednesday night, a Seattle Mariners‘ fan caught a foul ball with his beer cup. As the people around him cheered, he promptly leaned back and chugged the beer. I mean, it’s pretty much the only thing you can do at that point.
What else was this bro going to do? Take the ball out, dry it off and dump the rest of his beer? Nah, just improve the entire situation by chugging the beer and holding the souvenir up to the crowd.

The best part about the beer chug however, is the fact that he basically spills half of it down his shirt. Clearly this man knows how to party. Give this man his shining moment though – a nice catch, a quality chug and that one shining moment. Nice.
In other news, the Mariners lost to the lowly Houston Astros on Wednesday night, giving up eight runs on 15 hits. Seattle is now 4-6 on the season, but this fan is undefeated. The highlight of Wednesday night’s loss came off the bat of Justin Smoak and yes, I’m still talking about the fans catch and beer chug.
The Mariners will play host to the Texas Rangers on Thursday night as Felix Hernandez (1-1) takes the hill. Thursday night’s contest marks the beginning of a four-game series between the two AL West rivals.
