Paul Biancardi, Analyst, Writes Myles Turner Has “Great Work Ethic”

Dave Daniels- Rant Sports

Myles Turner has officially hit the big time. Paul Biancardi, ESPN’s recruiting analyst I trust the most, recently praised Turner’s shooting and work ethic. Biancardi called the games at the National High School Invitational, and he was even nice enough to take some time out of his day for a nobody like me. It was not a particularly long conversation, but Biancardi was a true gentleman and enjoyed his tweet below.

Turner will be in for quite a season if he has kept working, which I’m sure he has. He is the second ranked player at his position according to ESPN, and he checks in a pretty nice 6-foot-11. That is some great size, and so you can see the potential scouts like when they look at Turner.

He is currently undeclared, but obviously the top programs in the country would all be lucky to have a talent like Turner.

Scout.com certainly thinks he can be a defensive stopper: “Turner’s height and more importantly reach enable him to control games defensively” Scout writes in their player profile. “He has shut down some of the country’s best interior scorers, using his length and timing to swat and alter shots.”

We will just have to wait and see where Turner ends up, but you can bet we will let you know here at Rant Sports Prep when he does.

Watch HS Hoops Coach Headbutt Referee

There is absolutely no excuse for this to happen ever. During an argument about a call, Neshaminy (Pa.) high school basketball coach Jerry Devine decided it would be a good idea to headbutt the referee to prove his point. Devine was then ejected from the gym and could now face criminal charges for his actions as well as losing his teaching and coaching job.
