I came across this news on google and there were some pretty entertaining tweets about it as well. Andrew Wiggins apparently threw the first pitch out at a West Virginia Power Baseball Game. Here’s a tip though Andrew; stick to basketball.

Wiggins apparently one hopped the ball, but really he couldn’t have done worse than John Wall’s first pitch a couple years ago.
Wiggins with a 46 mph one-hopper on his “first pitch”. Canada’s backup plan for the next WBC might need some work.

Wiggins has quite a year ahead of him; he has not chosen a college yet, but he is widely considered to be the beat player eligible for the 2014 draft.

THat kind of pressure has never seemed to bother Wiggins though and it will be truly fascinating to watch how his freshman year goes. Much of it will depend on which school he chooses, but we won’t know that until Wiggins does I suppose. Let’s just all hope that it is sooner rather than later.
